In 2024, we partnered with Process Curiosity to help Mid-America Science Museum open a brand new experience inside of Hot Springs National Park (HSNP) named Mystic Ozark. Our team spent 11 months overseeing the creation of an immersive experience as part of a larger experience. The concept was to walk guests through the water cycle of HSNP. We used a mixture of live action visuals, animation, and sound design built into a custom designed space with projection mapping to guide viewers through the landscape, geology, waterways, wildlife, and more from the area.

This project challenged us in many ways. The building is a historic building owned by the National Park Service which restricted how we could build and affix the final installation to the building. We also had to work around the existing fire alarm system and keep the entire thing ADA compliant. While we were filming live action assets there was no rain for the entire three weeks on location… Kind of hard to talk about the water cycle without rain. Thankfully our animation team and some movie magic came together accomplishing this important component.

In 2017 we led a team of creatives overhauling The Root Farm’s marketing efforts. The organization was entering a new era expanding their offerings beyond equine therapy as they moved to a new facility. The new property enabled them to add agriculture and outdoor recreation (they have the first fully handicap accessible high ropes course on the east coast!) offerings for their growing clientele.

The deliverables included a small photo library, four videos, a website, branding guidelines, brand voice, and more. We partnered with the team at FMN Creative to dive deep into the farm’s goals. The result of this project helped get them there and they’re thriving today.

In the week following the launch, there were over 45,000 views, 500 reactions, and 150 shares on Facebook. After the first month, the views were over 200,000! These views were completely targeted in a two county area surrounding their facility.

Simon had the opportunity to be a part of the crew installing Quanta in its Salt Lake City home for Locus Studios. This experience was a massive mixture of mediums including projection mapping, lasers, moving objects, haze, water, and more to tell a story in an incredibly unique way. We also had to build the space this experience would live in before we could install and re-program the show. This project required months of work to pull this off with a small and nimble crew. After installation, Simon also operated the show as projectionist keeping the three separate machines operating in sync while incorporating some unique changes during each show.

There were hundreds of visitors that experienced Quanta during its six month run while Locus Studios began developing some new concepts which are still in development.
